10 Days of Meditation
Hi babes! Do y'all ever have negative thoughts that enter your mind and you feel like you can't stop them? Or do you let someone else's words or actions impact you even though you know there's nothing else you can do?
Back in April, Wellthily hosted a "Mindful Morning" event at the Refinery Rooftop. It was held at an ungodly hour, but if you could pull your body (and your mind) out of bed, it was totally worth it. Terri Cole, psychotherapist and coach, talked to us about the the benefits of meditation and led us through our first session.
While I walked away feeling completely transformed and vowed to start meditating daily, of course I didn't. Now it's October and I'm starting to wonder what would have happened if I had made daily meditation a habit?
There are an infinite number benefits to a daily practice:
- Overcoming perfectionism
- Silencing your inner critic
- Managing stress
- Improving your mood
- Increasing creativity

Today, I'm challenging myself (and you) to 10 days of meditation. There are plenty of apps out there to help you get started, but I'm starting with Headspace. They offer a free 10 day trial and walk you through a guided meditation. I'm excited to see where this new experience takes us. Comment below if you're in!
